Trigger finger release is a minimally invasive procedure designed to treat trigger finger (stenosing tenosynovitis), a condition where a finger or thumb gets stuck in a bent position and locks or clicks when straightened. This occurs due to inflammation and thickening of the tendon sheath, restricting normal movement.
