Trigger finger release is a minimally invasive procedure designed to treat trigger finger (stenosing tenosynovitis), a condition where a finger or thumb gets stuck in a bent position and locks or clicks when straightened. This occurs due to inflammation and thickening of the tendon sheath, restricting normal movement.
By releasing the affected tendon sheath, this procedure restores smooth, pain-free movement of the finger or thumb.
